HAVE A HORRIBLY HEALTHY HALLOWEEN!
Halloween has a number of origins.
- As an ancient Celtic festival, Samhain, was believed to be the best time of year to connect with spirits of the afterlife.
- In Mexico, previously the Aztecs and other Nahua peoples, celebrated Dia de los Muertos or the Day of The Dead joyfully remembering loved ones who have passed.
- Later on, Christianity celebrated All Saints Day, a day commemorating all the saints of the Christian Church.
Halloween is so popular in Australia today mostly because of 'sometimes foods' companies advertising and fast fashion.
As the days get warmer and springtime giving us an abundance of food, if you do choose to celebrate Halloween, lets give the parents and kids a real treat with a horribly healthy spin on the tradition.
Our Wickedly Healthy Halloween Jokes, Zinnie and Halloween Chatterbox will keep the kids busy, entertained and creative.
