Thank You
I would love to say a big thank you to everyone who has worked with me this year!
I really appreciate being able to help everyone learn how to prioritise and improve your health and lives. I know it is not easy opening up that big can of worms, which is our eating habits. But I am so proud of all your efforts, no matter how small they may seem, as I know that from little things big things grow. If you keep chipping away, litle by little you will make those positive changes to reach your goals.
I also greatly value the expertise, time and energy of all my colleagues: health professionals and disability workers who advocate and encourage my clients to come to me and help them to make those changes to their health and well-being. Thank you so much!
This month we have our 12 Happy Healthy Holiday Habits I hope you can join in with and share your tips in our Facebook group Bright Bods!

Recipe of the Month
Festive Watermelon Pizza
Inspired by my kid, this is definately a texture and flavour sensation! Serve outside as it is sure to get messy!
Serves 6-8
Ingredients
- 1 whole or half watermelon sliced 1.5cm thick to be the watermelon base
- fruit of choice: I chose:
- 1/2 a firm pear to avid oxidisation
- 1/2 banana that have been refridgerated to prevent oxidisation
- 1 mango cheek
- 2 Tb berries, I used dianella berries (Australian Native- be careful you know your berries!)
- 3 table spoons of Greek yoghurt or chia pudding made on dairy free milk for a dairy free option and extra texture
- 1 teaspoon desecated coconut
- mint leaves
Method
- Wash your watermelon skin
- Cut the watermelon into round circles and place on a plate
- Cut up the rest of the fruit
- Drizzle or dollop the yoghurt onto the watermelon
- Add the fruit
- Sprinkle with coconut and garnish with mint leaves.
- Cut up into slices and serve.
