Juggling Your Eating
I often say healthy eating is a juggling and a balancing act. There are so many factors that influence our eating. Our food preferences over the day, the weather, what other's are eating around us, the budget, and those life skills such as cooking, shopping, planning, food preparation, time management and organisation. It can be hard to achieve that healthy diet consistently with everything going on in our busy day to day lives.
Sometimes when you have a busy or crazy week, it can seem all the balls fall down and you lose your balance and you might think 'stuff it'. But with some perspective and your goal in mind you can pick yourself up and brush yourself off and keep going.
With some strategies, practise and time you can learn to only let one ball fall at a time and not get so overwhelmed by all the balls in the air. You simply catch them to stop for a moment, take a breath and start again.
Tell us your tips or strategies on how you keep yourself choosing the healthy options when life gets a bit crazy. Let's inspire each other by sharing in our Bright Bods group!
