Happy Bright New Year!
The New Year can often bring the idea of a reset button, where we some how summon up some new energy, make grand plans to feel good or live a better life.
Whilst we press RESET we want to think about what has led to us feeling this way and choose wisely with what we want to do and achieve.
We love doing what we do to help people understand their eating and lifestyle issues and help work through the many steps it takes to move forward changing mindset, eating habits and activity levels to reach their goals- whether it is to be able to get more energy, increase confidenceor self esteme, go on active holidays, run around after the grand children, start a family or win that sporting event.
We look forward to helping you reach your 2026 goals or at least start to make some slow but steady steps towards them!
For all you Bright Bods out there please inspire us all and share your goals for the year in our Facebook group Bright Bods!

How We Can Help You
The beginning of the year is a great time to put your health first. Having a consultation at this time of year can help you set up some new habits and make your lifestyle work for you and your family.
A lot of people might be unsure about how Dietitians can help. Here are just a few topics we address in our consultations:
- nutrition assessment and identifying areas of improvement with your eating habits
- healthy eating, foods and nutrients to meet your body’s nutrition requirements
- learning how food affects your health condition and what is best to eat
- portion sizes and portion control
- label reading of food products
- hunger and satiety management
- tackling emotional or comfort eating and sugar cravings
- meal planning
- successful goal setting and action planning
If you or someone you know feels they need some help in these areas call Carin on 0413 77 44 11 (after 8th January) to discuss and for clinic appointments (on Thursdays) you can call Central Coast Family Psychology 4339 7497 or email admin@ccfamily.com.au (after 12th January).

New Zumba Gold Class!
Zumba Gold is a low impact, uplifting dance class for those new to dance, older active adults, people with an injury (no twisting or jumping to protect joints), neurodiverse individuals or those with disability.
'The only dance class you are smiling the whole time' - Chris 'It is my happy place'- Conrad
'I actually prefer Zumba Gold to the regular crazy fast-paced Zumba. There is more time to enjoy the music when you dance. I love keeping all the various dance genres alive and accessible to all: There is a bit of salsa, swing, cha cha, cumbia, disco, country, belly dancing, tango and flamenco. We have a lot of fun and it is a great social outlet.'- Carin
